Our building system comprises of pre-engineered fl oor and wall cassettes are laser cut and manufactured in our off-site facilities to automotive (+/- 0mm) tolerances. Wall cassettes are manufactured from high quality rolled steel section, rolled in-house to meet our exacting standards.

Floor and ceiling cassettes are manufactured using a unique concrete system. We are the only off-site construction company to offer this as standard within the UK. The concrete floors provide mass and solidity to the building, removing vibration across floor and dramatically reducing both impact borne sound and airbourne sound transference.

When on site, the base for our element of the building, the sole plate, is lined and levelled only once. From there the building is constructed with no further packing or shimming required with Henley achieving a tolerance less than 1mm per floor. As an example a recent 12 storey project achieved an independently verified tolerance of less than 4mm from vertical over height of the lift shaft, precision that would be almost impossible to replicate with traditional construction methods.

Internal walls and corridors are straight, improving the aesthetics of the building and reducing on site waste. As we are often working to tighter tolerances than on-site cladding systems, there are fewer cladding variations, further reducing cost and program time on site.
